Environment, Social and Governance

At Generandi we manage our operations responsibly.

The company is fully committed to complying with the legislation, regulations and business procedures in force in each of the places where it operates.

We comply with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, which is a guarantee of quality and good practice in the market of national and international companies. This standard certifies the company’s social responsibility and guarantees environmental, health and safety conditions at work, as well as efficient management.

The Company has a Code of Ethics (which includes a gender equality policy), an Anti-Corruption Policy and a Quality Policy that includes the values, commitments and responsibilities assumed by all its administrators, managers, employees and other stakeholders.

Generandi is also transparent and fair in receiving and managing reports of violations through the Whistleblowing System. The WBS is a reporting tool for Generandi personnel in particular and for the public in general to report any behavior or action that is indicated to violate the code of ethics.

At Generandi we are deeply linked to the land, always having as our maxim the well-being of the natural environment and of the vegetation, fauna, soils and all the components of the ecosystem, through the use of good agricultural and forestry practices. We are actively committed to the sustainability of the natural and business environment and to the fight against anthropogenic climate change.

As part of this commitment, we have calculated our 2022 carbon footprint in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2019 standard, and it has been registered in the voluntary Carbon Footprint, Offsetting and Carbon Dioxide Absorption Projects Register of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, regulated by RD 163/2014, of 14 March. This effort has enabled us to obtain the MITERD ‘Calculo’ Seal.

In addition, as part of our decarbonisation strategy, we have developed an Emission Reduction Plan for the next 5 years, which has been presented together with the registration.

The ‘Calculo’ Seal certifies that we have measured our carbon footprint according to the criteria established by the Ministry, a fundamental step to identify, manage and mitigate our greenhouse gas emissions.

What does the Ministry’s ‘Calculo’ Seal imply?

  • Transparency: Our carbon footprint data for the year 2022 is available on the website of the Spanish Office for Climate Change (OECC), within the public list of registered organisations, which has been active since 2014.
  • Commitment: This recognition reflects our efforts to manage our emissions and encourages us to move towards reducing and offsetting our carbon footprint in the future.
  • Sustainability: At Generandi, we integrate sustainability principles into our business strategy, actively contributing to a healthier environment.

You can read more about this voluntary registration and its implications on the official MITERD website.

Below, we provide our stakeholders with the Certificate of Registration and the seal itself, which reflect our commitment:
